Hello y'all! Some of you may or may not know, but I am attempting to recreate as many stuff from the Daytona USA series as possible.
This includes the base Daytona USA and the sequel, Championship Circuit Edition/Deluxe, 2001 and Championship USA
I will be posting updates as they happen.
Here is an example of my work so far

You're doing the Daytona USA 2 opponent cars? Hell yeah man! Those cars don't get enough love, and I'd love to see the full field of them one day.

I have 16 of the 43 Daytona USA 2 cars done, as well as the 00 SG8 car from DUSA1
The track Sega International Speedway is approximately 65% done, all that's left is to add track side objects like the Goal Post and the grandstands, as well as brushing up on some setups to make the car not slide into every corner.

amazing stuff! one detail I'd like to point out is that some (if not all) of the NPC cars in game had the Raybestos Brakes logo on their quarter panels, I haven't played DUSA2 in years so I can't personally take a screenshot to confirm it but I've seen it in a few gameplay videos on YouTube.

While I have noticed the logo, I’ve decided to stick with accuracy to the promotional artwork. The official soundtrack CD and official guide are my primary sources.

The Raybestos logo is also the only real logo in the game, which to me feels out of place.

You know what, I'm gonna continue to work on SIS, last I remember the setups and layout were pretty much done.
It does need some texture rework however. I'd want it to look as good as modern Nr tracks instead
