Scripting help/makea3do issues.

I think I'd need to see the entire script or model file to determine what the error could be. One thing I know even with a simple mod, for example the cube mod, I still needed the interior cockpit, rearview, and fake wheels code for the mod to compile.

Here is the files, both the blender file, and the psg/pas files. BTW I'm using the new .pas exporter Burnout3d made for Blender, just so you know what I'm doing.

I haven't setup/tried the new blender setup yet so may not be able to assist yet. But if you think its an issue export a 3do with Burnout's format could try reaching out to him and see if its an error with his exporter missing something the scripting uses.

I've been pondering this a bit, and with the error saying "expected: Face" I wonder if the issue is that my model doesn't have backface culling enabled. Since IIRC whe I used to use the 3dsmax8 method upon import the inverse faces would be non-visible, and considering NR2003 was intended to be used with that program, having the backface is spitting out errors. Is this an issue I should be looking at, or am I chasing a red herring?

I'd say try anything you can with trial and error, thats usually what I do when I run into a roadblock. I've not tried the blender route yet so not able to assist what the error could be.

Hello, sorry for the bump, but I'm taking yet another whirl at this using the latest Blender PAS exporter from TShirt, and when trying to run make3do, it gives me the error
Syntax error. Script line 51, import file 'car.pas', line 238:
Expected: FACE, Found: Numeric-Value = '88'
Syntax error. Script line 51, import file 'car.pas', line 238:
Expected: End Of File, Found: Numeric-Value = '88'

Since in the thread of the addon you've seemed to manage to make it work, could you give me insight into what I'm doing wrong? I feel I'm on the cusp of finally getting a model into NR2003.

Hi there, just zip the project (your .PSG plus relevant .PAS) and hand it over to me per DL link --- then I will inspect
