two more cars for you all
Screenshot (529).png

for the arnold motorsports car
i wanted to capture the essence of them trying to appear like they could have a sponsor, but they didnt have time to put their logos on the car so they made it blue and white and somehow got magnavox to sponsor them okay? okay

Screenshot (530).png

caller: "YES. HELLO. i would like to purchase one of your finest frank kimmels please !"
advance auto parts employee(real): "the best we got is duane haines"
caller: "YES"

anyways here frank kimmel except its not frank kimmel

this leaves like two cars left to do
yay? yeah yay

Update, currently got in touch with Tim Norris, who did a lot of NASCAR design stuff back in the 90s to 2000s, and his name was on the back of the car, so I though i'd try messaging him to see if I could talk to him about it, and guess what?? He responded! So Not only will I be able to probably figure out all of the info about the I can, but I may(big may there) be able to even get the illustration for the hood, so I just thought i'd put this here, as I know Jasper is wanting this car so-

Update again, to help get the carset out quicker, im removing the Jasper 55 from the set itself, not that i wont work on it! But, im taking it out so I can finish up the carset and get everything all tied up and done with it.

Currently as I write this im working on the Team Rensi Marines car, and soon after that I get to work on the applebee's car, which will be the last car in the set barring any more scheme ideas or me suddenly finishing up the jasper car.

But again, the Jasper car is being worked on as well and if I can get the illustration then i'll re-make the car it came on, if not? I'll release the number and my version of the scheme it came off of.

one of the final two cars for the set are done

Screenshot (534).png

I was going to do the marines car but I thought it would be boring, so I did a timberland pro car instead since they sponsored Team Rensi at the time.

Next up is the Applebee's car, then? We're all finished!

Since the actual #55 is so complicated to make, I wondered how using the schemes colors, but with the standard Jasper base seen on the #77 (and #67 in 2002) would work? Probably going to be my next NR2003 Project

I've been considering that as well I will say, I imagine it would look very very good as the overall colors on the 55 is beautiful, especially, but due to the extensive custom airbrush work im honestly not sure on if i'll ever be able to re-create the car to what it was, but I am trying!

Also, sidenote on the number, its been oddly hard to get it looking correct, as we don't have that good of a reference for it, or atleast a fully clear reference at the moment. But it is coming along! It should hopefully be done, along with the carset tonight, so the number should release sometime tonight, and then the carset? Well I got to make the presentation for it, whether that be a video or cool render im not sure(as I did figure out that with some tweaking I can use blender now so thats great)

Jasper 55 is done!
Jasper 55 Thumbnail.png
So! Now with that out of the way, I can finish up the final car, and then after I get the FF03 set out, I can work on making the car this number came from.
Hope you all like the number, and Jasper? Your welcome, and I am trying to make the car i swear-

And with this, the final car is done !
Screenshot (539).png

This car was going to be an applebee's Ford but i just couldn't get the scheme together, so I threw that out and made this. I think the car is perfectly fine, feels a bit condensed on the door to me, but I also do like how it looks, as originally it looked like this-
Screenshot (536).png
and while it kept the Fry's color red prominent, no matter what combo I did, nothing worked better than black and red, so I went with it.

So! With this being done? I am now finishing up things(fixing small issues, putting Rookie Stripes on the cars that need them, etc) and once that is all done I have to give all of the cars ratings, and once that's done? It'll be time to figure out what to do presentation wise, So we'll see!

Okay so interesting update

My computer needs to be factory reset due to a horrible driver problem. I can't get it fixed without getting rid of a certain graphics driver which would pretty much instantly freeze my pc, and due to that the best course of action is to factory reset everything and re-update the drivers manually afterwards.

Due to this, im going to post any of the schemes I have somewhat made here, and along with it, some stuff I did in the past I think you all will like, but yeah it'll be a bit before I get posting agani, especially since I have to work two 6 day weeks in a row starting this coming monday, so I wont have too much time.

Anyways, The next post will be all of the stuff I'd like to show off, so uhh yeah I guess.

image_2023-08-22_210810440.png

you didnt think you could kill me off that easily did you?

anyways hello again.

I'm back at it yet again, now working on a personal mock season carset, with the car your looking at being the #92 of Steve Matthews, who signed a 1 Year contract extension for 2003 with Red River Racing(Melling Racing, except they didn't explode). Steve is one of those drivers you have in a series that everyone knows about, and everyone respects. He comes home with a clean race car, is a nice sociable guy, and always out performs his equipment, such as with his "Shooting Star" esc. run he had in the 2001 Daytona 500, where he went from 27th to 9th in a single lap by simply playing his cards right and drafting the right people.

A superspeedway ace, and someone you can always trust to being the car home, that? is Steve Matthews.

anyways sorry, maybe I should make a thread about the mock series? maybe, anyways the car your seeing is nowhere near finished I just thought i'd send something to let you know I didn't explode.

anyways bye.

Here's the mostly finished product
image_2023-08-23_000318129.png

The car still needs a few touchups, such as tilting the team logo on the front headlight, and tape adjustments, cutting, coloring etc etc. Along with that the firesuit and pitbox need to be made as well. Although, I plan on making those after I make his Kodiak car for the season, as the Kodiak car is his primary, with Rolex being a sponsor of Steve's that decided to fill in the gaps between Kodiak's funding across the season. Once I make those i'll make the firesuit for the Kodiak car and probably transfer it over to the Rolex machine as I dont have time(see what i did there?),,, not really I do have time, but I figure a team that has a decent budget, but not on things like firesuits? It would make sense not to have it change.

Next up after im done with this car i'm going to tackle my own car for the set, that being the #30 AOL car for Brandon Allen(me !)
It should turn out pretty alright, but its also me so who knows

okay bye again

"YEAH !!! WE GOT BROADBAND BABY!!!" - At least one person in 2003

This here, is Brandon Allen(me !)'s car for the 2003 Season.
Brandon Hasn't lit the world on fire needless to say, as in his first season(2001, part time) he only made 3 races out of 36, when he was supposed to have raced 12 times, but luckily for him his connections with AOL kept him in the car for 2002, which saw a decent improvement. Although he is quite crash prone, as he always manages to be in the right place at the wrong time, for instance in his part time effort in 2001, he found himself in front of the leaders at Darlington as they were coming up to lap him for the 4th time, when the car in front of him spun down the track, so He swung the car far down low, lost the back end and spun back up, ending up slamming into 3rd place runner Candace "Cannonball" Cannon, ending her day, and his.

In other words, Brandon Allen is a Pay driver, someone who has a lot of sponsorship and is a good personality, but simply can't really get it done too well in the cup series despite his Busch Series success.

Sidenote I think I may make a thread for the Hellset(yes that is what its called)

NAPA KNOW HOW !

Screenshot (16).png

okay so here is Nathan Meyer's 2003 NAPA Auto Parts car.

Nathan is one of those drivers that you know will bring the car home, but not in the best position. He'll Either have a decent day, and finish higher than 25th, or alternatively, finish normally around 30th place. Due to this, many onlookers will wonder how Meyer keeps his ride and the reason is?

He is very good friends with the NAPA people.

Due to this? He is the single reason NAPA is on that #15 Deora MacOilen Chevrolet. Although he has had some breakout moments, such as some very very good flashes at the plate tracks? He hasn't done well, and has struggled with mechanical failures, with the most heartbreaking being when he had a shot at his first win at the fall atlanta race in 2002, only to have his radiator give out and overheat only 30 laps from the end of the race.

But in the end? All most people look at is results, anyways time to go explode bye.

HOLY CANNOLI BATMAN! THAT'S ocean isherwood in the number eighteen interstate batteries pontiac for bill belichick enterprises! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!

Screenshot (24).png
Screenshot (25).png

So, this here is Ocean Isherwood, The 27 year old 2000 Winston Cup Champion, who is overall one of the most consistently fast drivers in the sport at the moment. Currentl heading into the 2003 winston cup season, Ocean has 37 wins across the Cup series, Busch Series and Truck Series(she has one win in both busch and trucks, both came early in her career) Ocean is one of those drivers where the moment you see her in the mirror, you need to either go faster or move out of the way as she isn't afraid to move you out of the way if you don't budge, just ask Ryan Adema. Ryan is one of the few drivers that doesn't mvoe over for Ocean, why you may ask? Because to him: "Racing is racing, no matter where I am? I'm racing" equaling someone that is an absolute bastard to pass, and all of this came to a head in the 2001 season at the fall chicagoland race, when Ryan got tired of Ocean moving him out of the way, and during a long green flag run he turned her into the fence, causing her to get up on her side and destroy her car.

She got the car somewhat repaired and went out and finished 29th on the lead lap, meanwhile Ryan finished 37th 8 laps down.

in conclusion, Ocean should not be fucked with.

Also I put in the firesuit as well just to show what they could look like, Ocean's is simple as to show the sponsor logos but for instance the 15 and 30 both have more complex designs.

So, this here is Cynder Peretti, the rookie on the Bill Belichick Enterprises Lineup.
Cynder hasn't ever gotten a win across any of the NASCAR nation series(s), but results don't tell the full story.
Cynder has led an astounding 6,000 or so career laps. With her most dominant run being in the 2000 BGS Daytona 250, where she led 97% of laps until the big one happened with 7 or so to go, taking her out of the race. So in otherwords, this signing has been a long time coming, and with the purchase of the points from the #11 Fleet Crews Racing car? Peretti has a cushion for if she has trouble this season.

In Conclusion, everyone has their eyes on Cynder, and you should too.

anyways the BBE cars have the same contigs and tertiaries on their cars, and also one thing about the BBE cars is they will all have painted wheels, which is an oddity in the cup series for the most part.

okay bye again

dont worry ! i'll tell you all!

Screenshot (34).png

Okay so this here is Daniel Rivera, who has been around for a bit, since 98 running that #1 chevrolet for Deora MacOilen Inc. He hasn't ever won sadly, but he has come incredibly close atleast 5 or so times each season, with a good example being in the 2001 Rockingham(1) race, where he had the quickest car by a large marigin, got up to the leader Jimmy Daniels only to have issues on pit road in a late race pit stop, combined with the odd factor that his car just wasn't the same left him leaving rockingham with a 7th place finish that day.

Dan overall is a good driver, and always finds himself in the top 15 or top 20, just waiting for him to capture that illustrious win now

anyways so i forgot to change the tape color on the valence so oops, but it'll be the right color(black) on the actual car

okay bye

THIS BUD'S FOR YOU BUD !

image_2023-09-09_200345099.png

this here
is "Big" Ben Callahan, driver of the #8 Budweiser Chevrolet for Deora MacOilen Inc. Ben has 15 wins across the Winston Cup series, and the Busch Series coming into 2003, Ben is one of those drivers you can, kinda, count on to bring the car home good. As he always finds himself in the wrong place at the wrong time. But hopefully with this lovely car people will see him there and not plow into him under caution as that happens to him more than you would expect.

In Conclusion? haha bri'ish nickname

hello it's me
whille i'm working on getting logos and other things worked out for most of the other teams, and also like the scheme ideas for 95% of the teams,

I thought i'd go through and give something to you all,
that being the team logos I have made so far

so here you go:

Beckett Racing South Logo.png

Bill Belichick Enterprises Logo.png

Brett Burke Motors Logo.png
Deora MacOilen Incorporated Logo.png

Josh Sikken Racing Logo.png

Mopar Motorsports Logo.png

Red River Racing Logo.png

Stephen-Simpsons Racing.png

Personally my favorite of the logos I have made so far is a toss up between the Beckett Racing South Logo, and the Deora MacOilen Incorporated Logo

but more is to come! As i'm currently working on a JSR #40 Coor's Light Car so that'll be coming hopefully sometime tonight

okay bye

it sure is a good thing i have fireproof wood!(said no one)

Say Hello to Sidney(but he goes by Sid) Allen, father of Brandon Allen and many time race winner!

Now I know what your thinking, "So Brandon, how buffed did you make your dad?" and to that I raise you the fact he's only won in Busch and Trucks and not in the cup series(although he has come close). Sid is one of those drivers who always finds themselves either out performing their equipment or having some sort of mechanical failure. For instance, at the 2002 Atlana Fall race, Sid had b een leading for a lot of the race as he just had the best car on track by a longshot, only to drop a cylinder with around 100 or so to go, relegating him to a 34th place finish for the race.

In conclusion, sid is good! but damn inconsistent and unlucky.

also I hope you like the car, as it took way too long to make look okay.

shit i dropped my pen-
FUCK I DROPPED IT IN PENNZOIL NOW I'LL NEVER FIND IT!
Screenshot (45).png

Anyways, say hello to Columbus Crawford, driver of the #29 Pennzoil/GM Goodwrench Service Plus Chevrolet Monte Carlo for Brett Burke Motors(what a title!)

Columbus is a good driver, and his stats show it, as his 16 wins across the Winston Cup Series, Busch Grand National Series, and Craftsman Truck Series show that to you(most of those wins come in GNS, but he still has 3 cup wins). So, you may be wondering why he's rocking the Pennzoil from 03 onwards instead of the #1 car, and well it's simple! Alltel wanted to be on that #1 car, and Goodwrench didn't want to be the primary of two cars on the same team, so it was a win win! Pennzoil slid over to the 29, and the 1 got it's Alltel sponsorship, all while Pennzoil doesn't have to pay for the sides, so it truly is a win all around!

Anyways Columbus is a very consistent driver, always finished around the ladder half of the top ten, or high top fifteens really, so you can expect to see this cat eye'd beaut ip front several times this season.

I HATH RETURNETH !!!!

image_2023-10-13_212153401.png

This here, is a jasper #77 with the color scheme of the Jeff FUltz #55 DNQ car from charlotte 2 in 2003, with the idea coming from @DaleTona75
Hope you like it! I'll be whipping up a quick driver suit and pitbox to go along with it and i'll release it sometime tonight or tomorrow evening.

also painting for the hellset has come to a halt due to art block, so hopefully this gets me going again.

LORD HAVE MERCY !!!!!!

Screenshot (60).png

This here? Is Waylon Mercy, driver of the #7 MERCY Motorsports Bobcat Ford Taurus.

Waylon is one of those drivers that you always wonder what would happen if he was given top tier equipment as he always has so many flashes of speed only to never back it up with a win really. He's only got 2 wins across BGN, and CTS. with one each with both of them oddly coming at Richmond of all places, anyways.

At the ripe age of 40, Waylon is really not all that old compared to the current cup series field, with several drivers over the 40 mark, and about 4 over the 50 mark, He's got a while before he starts to go down hill but in his own words: "Ya nevuh know when ya last race will be, so I treat every race as muh last" and yes he has that thick of an accent.

anyways bye again

i sure do love renting a storage unit from nations rent. Surely they are doing goo-OHMYGOODNESS ITS ON FIRE!
Screenshot (61).png

This? Is Simone Walker. Driver of the #77 NationsRent/Pyroil Ford Taurus.

She previously drove the #77 Jasper Motorsports Ford, as MERCY Motorsports bought out Jasper in october of 2002, where they then fully combined teams and such for 2003. Anyways, Simone was a good driver in the Jasper car, with a lot of good runs in the iconic jasper yellow ford, but with no wins across any national series, a lot of people were wondering if Simone would show back up for 2003. Then? It was announced she was back until 2004 with sponsorship from NationsRent, also meaning the main sponsor of the #7 was moving to the #77.

Anyways, she's a good driver just waiting to have a breakthrough!

okay bye again

HERE COMES THE 7 TIME CHAMPION!!! DEORA MACOILEN!!!

Screenshot (69).png

so this is deora macoilen and his ride. the 7 time champ with over 100 wins across the three national series(97 WCS, 4 GNS, 2 CTS) and one of the 2 drivers to ever get 7 championships in NASCAR history! Deora is the guy you fear, when you see this blue bullet on track you got to make sure you either make room for him to pass, or hope to god you can hold him off or out run him.

Aka, don't let him get past you, but you better be good enough to stay ahead of him!

In conclusion, make sure to respect The Blue Bullet!

anyways I hope you all like this car, as I wanted a completely different type of Goodwrench car, so I went with the blue and white.
