well boy howdy looks like i got a forum now!
This is pretty much just going to be a place for me to show off in progress cars, carsets, schemes, etc etc you get the point!

To start off, here's some cars for an upcoming update to the field filler carset I made for cup05

#46 Blackberry Chevrolet Monte Carlo for Hendrick Motorsports, Driven by Jimmy Daniels
Screenshot (122).png

#80 Blockbuster Chevrolet Monte Carlo for Joe Gibbs Racing, Driven by Rico Palmtree
Screenshot (123).png

#35 Dell Computers Chevrolet Monte Carlo for RW Inc, Driven by Riley Wedge. I thought it would be a good idea to give the only pontiac team in the field a Chevrolet version so they can make a race once in a blue moon.
Screenshot (124).png

#27 Spirit Halloween Ford Taurus for Kirk Shelmardine Racing, Driven by Jessie Slate
Screenshot (125).png

#13 DirecTV Dodge Charger for Evernham Motorsports, Driven by Sid Allen Jr.
Screenshot (126).png

I have about 3 more cars in the pipeline for this Field Filler Carset, another Variant of the #02, which has a different sponsor and a different driver, a new scheme for the #81 DEI Entry in the set, and a new team, or shall I say a returning team, the JASPER #67 car will be coming back as well. So hopefully that'll turn out well(probably not, i'm not too good of a painter)

Boi Howdy it's been a minute!!!

hey guys, sorry for taking so long to update, but i've been working on some pretty large projects lately, so the field filler carset has taken a backseat for a bit, but round two is now completely finished! and will be added to the original post with the updated cars and new schemes!

Now, here's the cars:

#02 Hewlett Packard Dodge Charger for Penske Racing South, driven by Steve Matthews
Screenshot (140).png

#26 Banquet Frozen Dinners Ford Taurus for Moose Racing, Driven by Ian Macleod
Screenshot (139).png

#67 Pepto Bismol Ford Taurus for Bieri Racing Ventures, Driven by Derek Bieri(this was originally going to be a jasper car, then i realized that penkse kinda like, ate jasper in 2005 so oops)
Screenshot (138).png

and finally, the #81 Extreme Pyrotechnics Chevrolet Monte Carlo for Dale Earnhardt Incorporated, Driven by Kyle Slate
Screenshot (141).png

Alright! Well I hope you guys like the cars, and I hope that you end up downloading the updated carset later down the road! Thanks for looking, and also reading.

I have no clue why But I keep thinking about making a COT field filler carset as well, I was thinking about 2008 maybe, and make a large batch of them, as around then they had so many random teams making starts or attempting to and I love looking back at it. So I may end up doing that so I dunno.
I have also been thinking about a "Last Call!" Update for the Cup0305 field filler carset, where i'd add the about..5 or 6 other cars I never finished for the "Round 2!" update, I dunno. Anyways tale this logo I made for a fictional team for..I have no clue, maybe the Cup0305 Carset, maybe the COT one? who knows anyways here it is.

BOY HOWDY IT SURE HAS BEEN QUITE A BIT OF TIME

I am finally back on ADRD! Now, some stuff has happened, such as the fact the team logo I posted above did go to a field filler carset or FF set as I call it now. In fact here's some cars for it:

FF09-54-2.png
FF09-60-1.png

FF09-73-1.png
FF09-90-5.png
FF09-91-1.png
So, this set is actually done! And very soon I will be releasing the carset onto ADRD. It was already released on stunod a lil bit back but It's good to get it out there, ya know?(plus adrd just looks and functions nicer)

Anyways, I'll reply to this thread with some current WIPs here soon, just gonna go ahead and post the FF09 set.

Okay so, here's some WIP cars from my current project or well, one of them anyways.

So you may be wondering what your looking at, and i'll tell you! Your looking at what is going to be the FF03 carset. Which is in the same timeline as the previous two FF carsets i've made, coming before FF05 and FF09 of course, this one dives into the early cup series career of a few of my fictional drivers, such as Sid Allen(#70 here, #13 for FF05 and back to #70 for FF09), Terry Conner(#86 here, #37 in FF05, and #73 in FF09) and Jimmy Daniels(#46 in both FF03 and FF05, but #84 in FF09) I Will also say that in the later version of the #46 I colored the Dupont logo black, or well the interior of it so it matched better-

If you guys by chance want to actually learn about the fictional history of some of the fictional drivers I can possibly go on a deep dive into their history and such, stats, who they've raced for, etc etc you get it.

I will also say the my favorite cars out of the ones I showed here has to be between the #86 and the two variants of the #70, they just look so nice.

Anyways once I make a few more cars I'll post them here, so uhh yep !

Back again with some more cars from the upcoming carset, these being the #67 of Scotty Adema, the #47 of Mike Harmon, and the #13 of Ridge Sink
Screenshot (308).png

Screenshot (347).png

Screenshot (350).png

With these cars i'm trying to get away from all the constant fictional names and teams, and work with more realistic team ideas, more actual drivers and likely teams etc etc. So for instance the #13 of Ridge Sink? That is an actual driver, but just not someone who ever came close to this level really, so I though it would be fun to put him in the car.(Plus his name is Ridge Sink, could I really pass up that opportunity?)

Currently up next on the block of cars to make is the two Fitz-Bradshaw Racing cars, the #82 and #83, which should be interesting considering i'm re-creating the cars for the most part. Sure there will most definitely be differences but I want them to feel like they were genuinely around during that time.

Anyways i'll post more once I get more done.

Here's those Fitz-Bradshaw cars, two more will be made as secondaries to these two with one being a SUPER Cuts car, and one being a "Just Call it! 10-10-220" car.

Screenshot (357).png

Screenshot (358).png

I Will say that it took an oddly long amount of time to get everything lined up for the design. I didn't think it would take as long as it did but uhh oops there goes 2 and a half hours of my day !!
Next up will be the two alternatives of these cars, as FBR really used the same base for every car in 2003 so. Along with that I plan on tackling the #55 APR GM Goodwrench Chevy next, so we'll see how that goes.

Hot Diddly Damn it's me again
Back with the secondary cars to the FBR cup team, the #82 Just Dial It! 10-10-220 car, and the #83 SuperCuts car
Screenshot (359).png

Screenshot (362).png

Haha funny 1998 car !!!Screenshot (364).png

This is just a personal car i'll be using for when I do races or also for when like I dunno i do online races in this mod.
Gotta say I love the way it turned out, the way the colors contrast and the whole story behind the sponsor is really cool. I recommend if you want to learn about the sponsor and it's very interesting concept to watch this video by Michael MJD

Boi howdy it's been a minute!
I sure do love paint scheme burnout, really nice. Anyways, I cooked up this beaut during the burnout, and I must say I really like how it turned out.

Screenshot (375).png

I must admit, this car took a bit to get done, as with the burnout and also the fact that I realized on every single car I made previously there was two 2005 logos on the contigs, so I had to go back through and re-export those cars(except the 82 and 83 cars, as they had such custom contigs i ended up taking the bad ones out on accident when making those)

anyways, time to retreat back into my hole

oh yeah also take these
Screenshot (373).png
Screenshot (374).png

Back at it again with two schemes in a single day! almost un heard of for me lately, but anyways take em

First up we have the #44 of Rico Palmtree in a Chuck Yeager tribute car for the USAF
Screenshot (382).png

Then? we have Robert Huffman in the #55 GM Card Chevrolet for APR, and yes that Robert Huffman. He was going to be sponsored by that (white house?) apple juice but I couldn't find a good logo, so I ended up doing this car, and I must say I like how it turned out.
Screenshot (389).png

sidenote i hope you like having a background on the carviewer again because my eyes were hurting with the not white not gray lol. Anyways time to go back into my hidey hole again, hope ya like the cars.

here comes yet another scheme
this here is a part time, highly experimental Chip Ganassi car(it will reflect that in the ratings when this carset comes out)
Screenshot (393).png

If your wondering, this is simply the default target scheme from 2003 just inverted with some changes to the contigs and some of the logo placements.

man i sure do love me some milk

Screenshot (402).png

Say hello to the #26 United Dairy Ford Fusion for Roush Racing, driven by Hank Parker Jr. Now I know this would have never ever happened but, i needed to put him somewhere so why not the milk car??? also i had to manually re-color an entire cowprint pattern haha
anyways i hope you like it, and i hope you like milk because everyone on the track will HATE to see this absolute unit flying of a milkmobile come up and pass them.

Screenshot (403).png

nearly forgot about the secondary lol

I SURE DO LOVE ME SOME PAINT SCHEME BURNOUT!!!

But hello again! After many trials and tribulations the next car for the FF03 carset has been completed! That being the #50 Xbox Live Blue Mountain Racing Dodge driven by Stacy Compton
Screenshot (408).png

I dont know what got into me today but I suddenly booted up photoshop and just went. Not only did I make the car, but I made a team logo for the team, which is rare as I usually dont do anything of that nature for the most part but I did today!
I really like how this car turned out, with the easy to spot color scheme and simple design? I think it would fit right into the field for 2003, although due to its Petty Affiliation it most likely won't be the most speedy team, but hopefully quick enough to make the race for the most part of the season.

On a different note, i have been thinking about making an offline series, one using something like the ICR mod or possibly something smaller and obscure like the Bronte Topless mod but i don't know, as im still toying with the idea but if I decide on anything here will probably be the first place i'll post about it! Anyways im gonna see if I can carry this paint scheme momentum through and make some more cars today so uhh later.

holy shit its been 15 days...

oops!

anyways, heres ROOBER!!! car
Screenshot (422).png

sidenote barq's is the best rootbeer
and i will not accept any other answer
okay cool sweet.

anyways this is Dick Trickle in a part time endeavor for Allen-Brewco Motorsports, set to attempt the 500, Coke 600, Brickyard, Watkins Glen, and Homestead(if it were to be in some season that is)
alright cool time to go away for 15 days again oopsies

Halo its me

Take this car! This is Mickey York's Cobra Electronics Pontiac grand prix. Its not meant to be anything special just a two tone car to have room for any potential sponsors really.
Screenshot (424).png

hello it is me yet again

here to deliver another car, this time the #71 Team Realtree Monte Carlo driven by Atticus Missner for Marcis Auto Racing.
Screenshot (445).png

I really like how this one turned out, and to be fair it is just Marcis's 2001 scheme with different colors and some changed around places for things and lil design things
but i really like it

helo its me
after my birthday i didnt paint much and ive been trying to look for a job but no one seems to want to hire me so thats cool.

Anyways, here is a TrimSpa car I made for BDR, with Chase Montgomery Behind the Wheel.
Screenshot (465).png

I ended up having to make the TrimSpa logo which took a bit but it turned out pretty good in the end. Here soon i'm going to upload the TrimSpa logos I made to the downloads section, so if you need the logo your welcome(maybe, as they aren't perfect but they're pretty close)

Eyo it's me again
comin back atchaboy with this car for Jimmy Kionen's team Kionen Racing.
He's already got one car made, that being a Pan Am Air car(yes they were around in 2003, as a company bought the rights to use the name, and it lasted dlike half a year and then violently exploded)
Screenshot (483).png

I always loved to go to sears when I was younger, was one of my favorite stores because it was always quieter than the other stores at the mall, although one time I did fall and impale myself on the escalator but hey thats fine everyone does that(real)

anyways I only have about..maybe 7 or 8 more cars left in this set at minimum if I don't get any ideas for anything else so this set may not be as plumped up as the FF09 set but I personally think this set is going to have a much much better quality over all.

Anyways time to go back to having burnout

Alright! Well I hope you guys like the cars, and I hope that you end up downloading the updated carset later down the road! Thanks for looking, and also reading.

something i have noticed about this carset looking back at it, is the fact that the contigs are so very wrong, although the cars are pretty good tho i will say
ive been toying with the idea of re-releasing the FF05 set with a much better set of contigs for each car, more accurate usage of the rookie stripes, plus things that would line up with the fictional universe i am slowly creating with the FF sets.

Do you all think I should do this? I think it would be a good thing to do, maybe after ive finished FF03 i could possibly release a combo set or something? I will also say the FF09 set has bad contigs as well, and I could do that as well. If it wasn't for how long the current set was taking maybe i could work on a re-master of some sort i don't know. I will say though the reason this current set is taking so long isn't just paint scheme burnout, as im working on a lot of projects at the moment and starting to work at autozone(i am a real and true autozoner) but the main problem with this set has been my insistence on being as realistic as I can be without making it un-fun, so if you look at the current crop of cars? They all have unique contigs, and they also have proper rookie stripes etc etc.

anyways sorry i just wanted to do something on here for the moment since I can't really paint much at the moment(My hard drive is acting up)

okay bye thanks

mmm red lobster
Screenshot (497).png

henlo
so after my main hard drive tried to die for a week, it decided to stop being depressed so well, im back !!!
i've been toying with this car for a while but i got it done and I gotta say I think mr Howdyshell(real) has a good lookin car.
Only 7 more cars left until i could theoretically release it, but I have a few scheme ideas so it may be a few more than that lol

anyways goodbye i am going to go explode

as a current autozoner(real and true) all I see walking around the aisles is paint scheme ideas
and while this is great for creativity sake, it is not good on how quick i get this carset out oops

Screenshot (513).png

Went with a bit of an usual design on this one.
a lot of short track cars have the hood logo tilted this way so the spectators can see it easily, but most NASCAR liveries and such have it tilted the opposite way(for aesthetics I suppose) and so I decided i'd flip the script and do it this way and I really like how it turned out.
I ended up making the number myself, which took a little bit but I roughly made it off of what I thought the Duralast or Autozone font could look like so, yeah.
Also tried some different contig placements on this and I will say I like how it turned out, especially the front, instead of them being stacked having them spread out looks better to me, but im sure its more of my taste thing and not for everyone oops.

Anyways here is the cars I need to make still:
#03 Team Amick Motorsports car for Lyndon Amick
#35 Rensi Racing Team Marines car for Bobby Hamilton Jr.
#53 Jarvis Motorsports car for Butch Jarvis
#64 Kimmel Racing Advance Auto Parts car for Duane Haines
#79 Arnold Motorsports car for Jerry Robertson
#98 Pegase Lancaster Racing Applebee's car for Scott Lancaster

Just six more to go, and I will say I'm feeling pretty burnt out in certain aspects, but at the same time I have so many ideas for cars to where im just unsure honestly.
I thought about making either the 79 or 03 get sponsorship from Cherry Bomb Exhaust due to their wicked logo but at the same time im not sure really.

anyways time to go quiet again okay bye

okay so change of plans
but before i get into that here is the amick car
Screenshot (523).png

Okay so, the change is coming in the form of the cars that need to be made
I was looking on jayski for the Jarvis Motorsports car to see if there was a photo of it, and I couldn't find it, but I did find this.
1689535473620.png1689535483378.png1689535492410.png

due to my discovery of the Jasper 55
I will be making a jasper 55, and possibly if I want to torture myself, I will try and make this car as holy shit the hood will make me want to throw myself down a flight of stairs

but anyways, this now means that the remaining cars are:
#35 Rensi Racing Team Marines car for Bobby Hamilton Jr.
#55 Jasper Motorsports Ford for ???
#64 Kimmel Racing Advance Auto Parts car for Duane Haines
#79 Arnold Motorsports car for Jerry Robertson
#98 Pegase Lancaster Racing Applebee's car for Scott Lancaster

but before i get into that here is the amick car

Good ! i will say that I do not intend on trying to make the scheme you see there at the moment, but I may try my hand at it later on down the line, and if I do try it now? Most likely it will be the scheme you see with a different sponsor and no like, panther on the hood-
