Hi,

I'm currently doing high-res 4K versions of the Omega Cup2000 templates in their style, here's the Ford (WIP)

Currently working on layer "Parts #1" (this will include the hood tether plates + bolts), then Grilles are next.

Added rear bumper camera, wicker blade bolts, temporary tail-lights, spoiler bolts + washers, and worked on the grilles.
I had skipped the hood pins for now, I will return to them after I finish the grilles.

So, a little while after the last post here, I put the Cup2000 Ford template on the backburner, mainly because I didn't know how to texture the driver at the time, and I was still learning GIMP and Inkscape.
Later on, after I got some lucky finds to put together my recently released 2000 Winston Cup contingency decal set, I wanted to see the set rendered on a more proper, realistic depiction of the 2000 Ford Taurus body, so away I went doing an 8K(!) version for the SNG Cup 03 mod's version of the Taurus, from the ground up. This took much less time since I reused a lot of the assets that went into the Cup2000 version, and likely I'll redo that version anyway since I learned a lot since then.

Anyway, here's a 4K render

Having 64 gigs of RAM helps keep it all in memory

More to come soon!

Looked up some part-time drivers for the 2000 season after deciding on the number (96) and sponsor for my first new scheme using my recently-released template, happened to come across PPI motorsports owner Cal Wells, who happened to drive a Ford and had the same number. Figured, what if Atlas Van Lines got onboard? This is what I figure the company would've agreed upon as a final design for the car.

Click for delicious 4K renders of 8K goodness :)
