About NR Contingency Creator

NR Contingency Generator (also known as NRCG) is a layout tool for NR2003 race-car contingency decals. Instead of lining up sponsor logos by hand in a paint program, you place contig groups on a canvas, point the app at folders of logos, hit Generate, then tweak size, padding, alignment, and which logos stay pinned. When it looks right you export a PNG at the exact canvas resolution, ready to drop onto a car.
Typical use is a 2048x2048 (or other power-of-2) workspace, one or more contig groups, optional reference images as layers, then Export / Quick Export / Batch Export Sets. Projects save as .ctg files so you can reopen a layout later.

Prerequisites:
Linux AppImage: make the file executable and run it. If FUSE is missing you will need to install it for your distro to run appimages.
App Core features:
- Ability to create Contig sheets or even work on a mod having the proper size and rotation for all our contigs ready to export
- Create saved sets and presets of contigs to easily be able to export and reuse for other mods or sheets you want
- Pin specific slots in a contig group so as you 're-roll' to generate new contigs they remain, pinning cna be used if you just want to manually create a group
- Easily mirror, flip, resize, duplicate contig groups so you can easily have left and right side sheets for a car body
- Link one or more contig groups together so as you work on one the other linked ones also auto-update
- Easily increase/decrease size, padding between one or more contigs, or even resize a single logo to better fit proper size and ability to move contig around in a group if you feel one looks better in a different location
- Rank you cotigs on the go so certain ones appear more often or higher/low in a row
- If creating group of logos that are not contigs ability to apply stroke outlines to reduce any similar color paint schemes from blending with the logo
- Easily export your canvas or every single set in contigs groups instantly
-0 and much more! read the README for the FULL breakdown

Example 2 additional features:

Additional notes about the app:
- Works with other mods like ICR which is 4096x2048 just fine, you can resize the canvas to fit
- While the app is very hotkey reliant you can customize the hotkeys to something different
- You can nest layers into folders and even rotate the canvas to see the other side for easier alignment (doesn't affect exports)

Known Issues/Missing Features
- NRCG works best when your repository folders are curated with the logos you want. For example one folder for door contigs, another for fenders, and B-Pillars etc etc
Future Possible Features
- Ability to have Contig UI hidden and swap sets with a hotkey
- Make linked Contigs Groups export in batch mode as a single image instead of seperate images (would be an option you could toggle on/off)
- When stroke menu is open if user clicks another contig in group it will switch to it so users doesn't have to ope/close each time
- Add overlay effect, this will be good for contigs like on a b-pillar that the user wants all the logos to be the same color (e.g. all white with a black stroke)
