You always make great schemes no matter the mod. It's always great to see the fictional schemes that were in other NASCAR games get ported into the GOAT racing game. Keep up the great work.
Thanks for the compliments! These schemes are not in NR2003 yet, but if I can figure out what's preventing the make3do.exe program to not work they will be.

Back to "Project Retrograde" I've finished all of the primary schemes/drivers, and am now working on alternate schemes and extra drivers.

Back with more 3d modeling shenanigans, this time cooked up a Chevy Camaro, based on the current Next Gen body, but with some Gen 4 adjustments, such as a valence, standard side rails, and no hood cutouts. Will eventually have classic NASCAR 15 inch 5 lug wheels too at some point. Not 100% perfect, as I'm not super experienced with rendering complex shapes, but I feel it is good enough.

Back on 3d modeling for planned personal mods, I decided to model a low poly version of the EA Sports Dodge Charger model, and finally found out how to turn off bi-linear filtering in blender, for that proper retro look.

Added windows, a basic chassis (both currently untextured) and the wheels, of which feature the ability to paint the front and back wheel sets different colors. Also updated some geometry, mainly smoothing out the nose.

Today I cooked up 3 more 2005 Dodges. Still haven't gotten anything in game year model wise, been busy packing for a move.

First up is Jeremy Mayfield, basically a number swap with Kahnes' #9

Next up is Jeff Fuller in Buddy Sisco's #61. IRL this car was an intrepid, but for consistency's sake I put it on the Charger

Finally is Jeff Green in the Petty Enterprises #43.

Here are 3 more cars fresh out of the oven

First up is Kyle Petty's Georgia Pacific Dodge

Next up is a semi-fictional cup interpretation of Jeremy Mayfield's 2005 Busch car.

And finally we have Awesome Bill from Dawsonville, in his 2005 Stanley Tools scheme

Next up are the first alternate paint schemes for drivers

First is Kasey Kahne's 2004 MTN Dew ride, transposed to 05/06 charger

Next up is another Kahne car, this time his RAM Mega Cab scheme from one of the 2005 Texas races

Up to bat third is Jeremy Mayfield's 2004 Mtn Dew car from Darlington given the 05 charger treatment

Jeff Green has an alternate scheme as well, his Wheaties scheme from the second California race in '05

and finally we have Bill Elliott's version of the Auto Value Dodge

Today I decided to get a bit creative and turn my Dodge Charger into it's Chrysler 300C Stablemate. I think it came out pretty good all things considered

Next up on the docket is a Plymouth Road Runner. This is a fantasy what-if car that deviates from it's Charger brother via a squared off bottom to the quarter window ad the removal of the "cross hairs" on the nose.

Finally for now is the long lost member of the Mopar family, the DeSoto Rebel "modernised" and ready to run. Due to the real brand being canned around the turn of the 60's, I had a lot of freedom for interpretation. Thos I put an upside down grill from the Plymouth, the 2004 Intrepid Headlights, a round Pontiac-esque quarter window, a Monte Carlo style rear window shape, and the charger taillights, all mashed together to make a fictional alt-universe Mopar that only I'm mad enough to try and dream up.

A while ago I was working on making NR2003 Cup2000 mod versions of various fictional race cars from games/movies/television/etc. Well now I'm back on the case with a "lost" Days of Thunder car, a blink and you'll miss it movie original that got even less screen time than Aldo Bennedetti.

This car was primarily seen in the "Give Me Some Lovin" scene, as one of the cars Cole Trickle bounced off of. Of all of the cars I could pick out with my mark I eyeball this is the only one that didn't have any real-life analogue (though my knowledge of late 80's/early 90's backmarkers is limited) The side/rear was made using B-Roll footage posted on Youtube, which I think I'm somewhat close to the mark on. In the movie this car was a Buick, but since I'm not adding extra makes outside of Toyota, unless it is linked to a hero car (ala herbie) I shifted it onto a Pontiac, with no light decals, due to it being a random background car. For driver I chose to put Buddy Bretherton behind the wheel, the driver who died in a crash while under Harry before Cole came along.

Here is the Camaro fully painted up, in an Earnhardt scheme of course.

Got the paint file for it mainly the hood I can’t find the plus with the white outline anywhere that Dale ran at the end of his career

Recently I've been inspired to download the Sim Modified COT Mod and 2007 Carset from Dr. Noise's website, and add some additional paint schemes to the roster.

Starting off, I've added 4 additional Kyle Busch paint schemes.

The white Carquest and Kelloggs cars were inspired by a post in the Digital Design facebook group, while the Delphi and Lowe's schemes are my own design.

Had some ideas floating in my head for track logos that may or may not get used in a racing game I may or may not end up developing, depending on if/when I decide to take the plunge.
