It is rumored that multiple teams such as Red Bull, and Andretti who are interested in racing in ASCU.

With the Charlotte race coming up multiple teams are running patriotic schemes and there will be a new team making a start.
Freedom Racing Enterprises will race with Ridenhour, a Rallycross driver who made select starts in the Nucor series the past couple of seasons.

Then Jenkins will also have a patriotic scheme60rjpatriotic.png

In dominating fashion Josh Brookshire won at charlotte.

Breaking News: Biffle will stop racing full time in ASCU immediately, stating that it was fun while he was competing for playoffs and now that he is out of the picture he isn't as interested.
Biffle will still run Atlanta and Dega but the rest of the races for the 16 will be run by a different driver or multiple drivers.

Weekly Newsletter:
Michael McDowell and Matt Dibenedetto will split the races that Biffle is not running starting with MattyD at Michigan.
Amerivet will make a couple of starts with Burt Myers Dates TBD
Zilisch will make his ASCU Debut at Watkins Glen
Multiple teams may stop running full time due to operating costs and poor results.
Kaz Grala may be replaced at Front Row mid season if his performance doesn't pick up
Elliott will miss the race at Michigan due to a family emergency (This has no bearing on his playoff eligibility)

In a interview after post race inspection both drivers and Jenkins' team owner had something to say:
"It's tough when you put on a show and it doesn't count," Jenkins stated", Going to be a tough meeting on Monday."
Keslowski said," It sucks that someone didn't do their job properly, and it cost us a victory. Luckily Rex is locked into the playoffs so it wasn't as bad as it could be."
"Awesome that we are in the playoffs, stinks that it was under these circumstances. But Bristol is up next and can't wait to run it back." Preece stated.

Briscoe wins at Bristol.

Breaking: Legacy Motor Club has gone through a ownership change in which Jimmie Johnson effectively bought out Gallagher's stake in the team. The team will switch from Toyota to Nissan next season.
Johnson said," I can't wait to see what we will be able to next year with Nissan, optimistically we will be able to compete for wins and championships there."
A top Nissan Exec stated," We are glad to have Johnson and his team join us next season, in an effort to get more nissans on the grid."
Toyota Execs declined to comment.

After the successful run they have been having in ASCU they are looking to add more cars on the grid for next year, it is also expected that Wolfhound Racing will add a second car though details on who would be driving it are not disclosed at this time.
