(this happens with all the tracks im trying to make)

plz help me D:

Hi when you add a new 3do to a track in sandbox you need to save then reopen the ptf for it to appear. If your track folder has too many 3dos in the folder it will remove 3dos at the bottom of the list alphabetically as well. Make sure your track only has the 3dos you plan to place on the track in the folder.

If you are still having issues after the above troubleshooting what is the 3do of? Is it a building, grandstand, trees? etc

ok so basically around 300 3dos and only things to be used?

edit: i had 1116 3dos 💀

thx for your help Master Mystical (lol)

edit 2: small things load and grandstands dont? (Buildings in general

Yeah that would do it. Ony include 3dos and mips in your track folder you have added to the track or plan to add the next time you load up the track (if you are at the stage of the track to start adding eye candy around). When you remove a 3do after saving and closing sandbox you can remove it from the track folder as well.

well a new issue arived uh... the program now takes stuff from the shaerd folder and not from the track folder

Make sure when you are choosing the 3do from the list its the 3do's from your track folder and not the shared folder directory with [instance] in front of it:

it should look like this with no [instance] that means its pulling from your tracks folder:

The track folder 3dos will always appear at the bottom of the list after the [instance] ones

(also are the 3dos suposed to be in the track folder or in the track´s shared folder?)
(show me something like layout of the folders)

For my track projects, I try to never add any 3dos from the shared folder. I would advise to only load the 3dos you want for your track into that respective track's folder.

If you need a particular object from the shared folder for your track project, then you can copy that 3do and it's related mips from the shared folder and place them in your WIP track's folder.

Yeah any 3do you plan to add to your track its recommended they are the 3dos from your track folder, not from the shared folder. When you add a 3do from shared that means any user who downloads your track would need the same 3do in their shared folder, if not the track won't load.

Likewise if you ever change the shared folder 3do it will update on your track too, this can have benfits but if the 3do changes wildly (like a massive sized 3do that used to be small) it may look out of place on your track.

ok so in the track folder or in a separate folder in the track folder
just asking btw

In your track folder yes. Next time you boot up the track in sandbox the 3dos will appear in the list to place. Remember to only include the 3dos you plan to use on the track, the 3dos need all their corresponding mips as well or it wont load the 3do for the track.

ok i have done all that now i get the instance thing
(with the 3dos in the track folder btw)

Make sure to remove the shared folder from your tracks folder

Your file structure should be something like this:

Tracks Directory
Your Track Folder
Your 2nd Track Folder 1
Your 3rd Track Folder 2
Your 4th Track Folder ... etc etc
Shared Folder

yes, shared folder pretty much would look like that in its own folder, not nested inside any track folder

The 3dos when you add them to the track should appear at the bottom of the list (non instance shred ones) assuming you have 3dos added in your tracks folder

Any 3do in the list with [Instance] means the 3do is coming from the shared folder, not your track folder
