Hello, and welcome to a brand-new season of NASCAR Cup Series racing. After a lack of motivation caused the cancellation of the 2013 Mock Season, I decided to come back to the mock series idea, except now with the 2019 roster and with the exhibition races cut. I hope you enjoy this rewritten season and if you any doubts, you can post in the comments below. Enjoy!

Welcome everybody to the 61st Annual Daytona 500. I am your host, Bryan J, and 40 of NASCAR's greatest drivers are prepared to kick this season off into gear!

Last year's ROTY driver, William Byron won the Pole in this #24 Axalta Chevrolet, with his teammate, Alex Bowman on his outside.

Now as they take the command to fire the engines, here is your starting lineup.

But in the end, Hamlin wins the battle and goes on top with 5 to go.
NR2003 2024-03-25 18-05-55.png(Moments before 11 takes the lead)

NR2003 2024-03-25 18-07-32.png

FINAL LAP: Thru Turn 1 & 2, Hamlin and Preece battled hard to get to the top, it seemed like Hamlin would get to 1st, but then Preece got draft support.
NR2003 2024-03-25 18-09-26.png

And coming out of Turn 4, Preece is gonna pull a Trevor Bayne 2011 and SOMEHOW, SOMEWAY, WIN THE DAYTONA 500!!!!!!!!!
