Hey y'all, makin' a fancy new showroom for the first of 3 carsets in my 2003-2005 Alternate Schemeverse series. If you're at all familiar with my past work, this is a complete remake/do-over of my 03-05 Alternate carsets from years ago.

This series is essentially me riffing on the paint schemes seen in the NASCAR Cup Series from 2003 to 2005, making my own remixed versions of them while remaining as authentic as possible to this era.

I already have 110 paint schemes finished, so to prevent spamming the forum I'll drip feed the renders here over the next few weeks. If you want, you can visit my Facebook page where I already have albums up featuring all the completed designs thus far as well as a collection of in-game screenshots.

So how about we start this off with everyone's favorite driver, Fred Jones! These cars will act as the unrated cars that you, the players, can drive if you don't wish to masquerade as one of the real drivers.

The next batch of cars features the only other "fictional" driver in the carset. It's hard to make a carset based around the early 2000s and not make a tribute to the man himself, Dale Earnhardt. Thus, he makes a cameo appearance featuring recreations of 20 iconic schemes from throughout his career.

Alright, now we're on to the real drivers. Let's start off with some beautiful Pontiacs fielded by the original iteration of the Haas racing team featuring sponsor NetZero and drivers: Jack Sprague (R), Jason Leffler, John Andretti, and Ward Burton.

Next, let's take a look at one of the defining teams of the 2000s, DEI! Take a look at one of the most iconic scheme lineups, of course featuring the most popular driver's iconic Budweiser red.

Time to post the last of the Pontiacs that have been made thus far, featuring some classic rides from this era: the Kodak cars from Morgan-McClure Motorsports and the winning half of NASCAR's most iconic finish, Ricky Craven's Tide ride with PPI Motorsports.

This thread is very nearly caught up, so these last two updates will be a bit bigger. For today, let's get caught up on the big name teams still left, featuring entries from: Chip Ganassi Racing, Penske Racing, Joe Gibbs Racing, Bill Davis Racing, and Richard Childress Racing

The final update to catch this thread up is focused on the drivers and teams you can't help but root for: the underdogs and field fillers! This group features big names like Wallace, Bodine, and Earnhardt and lovable sentimental favorites like Long, Shepherd, and Benning. We also have some recognizable mainstay teams that have been/will be around for a while such as Phoenix and Andy Petree Racing.

And now that this thread is caught up, it'll be updated when new schemes are completed and rendered.

So, here's today's update, the #38 M&M's Ford from Robert Yates Racing driven by Elliott Sadler

Got a solid update for y'all today, which includes: the Jelly Belly machine driven by Jim Inglebright at Sonoma and the various Kodak Easy Share branded cars from the Morgan-McClure stable

I also made an adjustment to the previously completed M&M's #38 for Elliott Sadler, primarily to make the door numbers much more readable than the previous version

Nothing groundbreaking for y'all today. I primarily made adjustments to Robby Gordon's Cingular Wireless car to improve the nose design and hood sponsor visibility.

On top of that, I made Robby's alternate colored Cingular car as well as the Cheerios Heart Health alternate scheme for Christian Fittipaldi.

It might only be one car, but I've still got quite a colorful update for y'all today

It's a fledgling Paul Menard and his Menards sponsored #33 Chevrolet, the car he made his Winston Cup debut in driving for Andy Petree

A sizeable update this time around and one you'll certainly enjoy if you're a fan of red Dodges. We finally have the appearance of the Evernham stable with a nice little cameo from Robby Gordon and his Watkins Glen one-off.
