    I don't think custom fonts can be added or it crashes the game. Unless you have a way to recreate the original format the game uses but not sure.

    Yeah I've not tried those before so not sure. Only done state switch version for my 3dos.

    3DSimEdED3 will not be able to properly export those type of 3dos. It triples the vert count and also strips a 3do from all its scripting. You'd need to use make3do and a psg script from the original source files for the pit boxes.

    I've never had an issue with exporting a 3do with animations. However the method I've always used for track objects is in my psg script I have each frame listed along with the 3do associated with it (each frame being a different 3do).

    I'd say try anything you can with trial and error, thats usually what I do when I run into a roadblock. I've not tried the blender route yet so not able to assist what the error could be.

    I'm late to mentioning this but a new tool might be coming to NR2003 in the future: This will make offline racing so much more dynamic with the AI being able to move around the racing groove more but also as the race progresses they can get more aggressive like real life.

    Yeah you go to Utilities >More... > Polygon Counter a bit down the list I set the budget to 1000 so I can keep track of each model not going over NR2003 limits.

    I haven't setup/tried the new blender setup yet so may not be able to assist yet. But if you think its an issue export a 3do with Burnout's format could try reaching out to him and see if its an error with his exporter missing something the scripting uses.

    oh yeah when I mean '3D', in the NR2003 world 3D is essentially just flat planes.

    So the empty seats is just a mesh that isn't textured with a crowd, or are we talking about a 3D crowd mesh?
